Cassini Maps and The British Library Map Collection

Cassini is delighted to be able to make available this historical maps from the late early 17th centuries. Sourced from the British Library’s world-famous collection, they are some of the earliest, and finest, examples of British cartography. The British Library Map Library is the national map library of Great Britain, with a collection of over 4.25 million atlases, maps, globes and books on cartography, dating from the 15th century to the present day. This makes the collection the second largest in the world (after the Library of Congress).
